An Australian husband and wife team have helped to create and launch a unique new product to give mobile phone owners the chance to personalise a cover for their mobile phone - with absolutely any design of their choice.

Creator John Wilson - who with wife Vuthea created the entire concept - says the whole idea of Fotofone is to give people or businesses the opportunity to create their very own personalised phone cover to protect their mobile phone at a reasonable price. The phone covers can last up to 12 months. Customers receive a front and back cover to protect their mobile phone (except in the case of the iphone where it is just the back cover). John Wilson says that he is not aware of any similar product in Australia. He intends to market the concept overseas.
John Wilson added "We can put anything you want on a phone. Your dog, cat, favourite pet, favourite pop star, favourite sports icon… anybody. In around 120 seconds we can create a cover. It's all very easy and simple."
WHAT IS A FOTOFONE COVER
What is a mobile phone cover. Mobiles phone are a large investment regardless of whether you bought it out right or have it under contract for two years. If you have bought the phone or it's under contract, the last thing you want to do is damage your phone. So what's the answer? Well its simple- buy a mobile phone cover to help protect your mobile phone from scratches and knocks. Mobile phones covers have been around as long as mobile phones have been out. At around the price range of $30 to $40 this is a cheap way of ensuring your phone is given adequate protection. If the covers get damaged and too scratched then they can be easily replaced with a new one. The other advantage of the hard plastic mobile cover is that it's light, slim line, not bulky and it does not compromise accessibility to answer your phone like the cloth/material phone covers. Hard plastic mobile phone covers comes in a variety of colors and designs so you can to some extent feel as though you've chosen a color or design that is different to your family and friends. Even though we are given a choice in what color or design we might want to cover our phone with, this still isn't true personalization. Fotofone covers are white on the back with a clear front, currently Fotofone does not offer any other colours . We need the white colour to print on.

Q: How do I make a Fotofone cover?
From the home page click on the "get started" button, pick the option you would like to do " Design your own cover" or " Upload your own image", select your phone type, select your model. Now create or upload your image once you have created or uploaded your image click on "check out", on the next page you have two options. Option one is "payment by credit card or debit card" click on the button to make your payment. Or the second option has an area to enter the gift card or promotional cod. If you have a promotional code or gift card this is where you enter it . Once you have entered the promotional code or gift card number click on "submit promotional" or "redeem gift card" This will take you to the payment area and will apply any promotioanl offer you have been given. Or if it is a gift card you will go to our information page, please fill in all your information.
Q: I cannot see my phone type or model what do i do?
You can email us at print@fotofone.com.au and we will add you to our email list for that model, when we get the model in we will email you to tell you that your cover is in.

After you have created or uplaoded your image, click on check out, choose the payment option, fill in all your information click on submit. This will take you to Pay Pal to make your credit card or debit card payment.
Q: Do I have to use Pay Pal?
No, you do not need to use Pay Pal, just email us and we will send you our bank information to make a bank deposit or transfer payment to our bank account. Once you have made your payment simply email your image to us with your name, address and phone type and model. We will make your cover for you and post it out.
Q: I having a problem uploading my photo what do I do?
If you are having a problem with your image please remove any underscores in the name of the file and lower the size of your image, if your image is bigger than 1428mm x 1041mm it may not work correctly. If you are still having a problem you can email us your image and we will make the cover for you. For payment we will email you our account information for you to make an EFT payment. Please email print@fotofone.com.au
Q: How long does it take for my Fotofone cover to be delivered?
It takes about 7 to 10 working days from the time you order. Note: if we are awaiting payment to be cleared then it is 7 to 10 working days once payment is received and cleared.if you have not see your cover in about 10 working days please email us on print@fotofone.com.au and we will track it for you. Please note: This applies to orders within Australia. International orders can take up to 3 weeks depending on which country.

Yes, on the home page on the left hand side under the heading "search by phone" , click on "Gift card" and follow the steps. We will post it out to you within 7 to 10 working days.

Q: I cannot see an image on the last page when I'm entering my information?
If you do not see an image in the box on the left, your image has not loaded correctly. You will need to go back and re-upload your image. The problem with your image is the underscores or the size. Please remove any underscores in the name of the file and lower the size of your image, if your image is bigger than 1428mm x 1041mm it may not work correctly.
